Back stage - the shoot taking place
Congratulations to Irene and Angie for creating a brilliant fashion story for JACQUEMUS SS23.
Both students were on my Art Direction for Fashion UAL CSM short course on Campus in Granary square London.
The course runs one evening a week over 2.5 months on Campus allowing students to develop strong bonds with their fellow creative team collaborators and others on the course, gaining tutorial creative direction from me focusing on the pre production planning of fashion communication media projects to sell product commercially.
Students have the freedom to develop their own art direction style - and more importantly start to build confidence as to what this is with others mimicking the real world where team playing is fundamental to success.
As the course director it is always interesting to see how my students deal with working on creative ideas in teams. This is not always easy - everyone comes to the table with their idea or vision of what they would like to do.
Irene and Angie had not met until this course and created something outstanding - going the extra mile and actually making their vision a reality as a test shoot.
