It was a real pleasure to have Eva Van Loon's creative powers on my Art Direction for Fashion course in January for a week onsite at CSM in London's Kings Cross.
Eva works for the Erve group, an apparel licencee company covering all key markets in Europe, the UK, India, and Africa, offering broad and layered distribution, merchandising and marketing.
It is the design origination of collections and marketing and promotion area that Eva works in.
She chose my Art Direction for fashion course to deepen her professional knowledge and hone her pre production pitch planning, but mostly to be free to express herself and tune back into being sure of her own intrinsic directorial style, starting with the freedom to curate the shoot wardrobe to originating a bespoke fashion story that could hit the ground running from a practcal and creative point of view.
Her preproduction fashion story here reflects her unique creative DNA and style soul and gives us a true window into her visual literacy and what makes Eva who she is.
