Born in China Lulu Liu moved to the UK to study fashion at the London College of Fashion in 2008 and hasn't looked back. This is her 5th collection at London Fashion Week.
Her signature pleats and fabric tassles create a sashaying flirty swing as the models move down the catwalk. Her colour mixes are eclectic, her print designs interesting and quirky.
The effect is a sort of sophisticated Wilma Flintstone cave woman meets couture style chic - and yes Wilma is a style icon!

Xio Li 's Spring Summer 2014 collection show cased at Freemason's Hall Covent Garden was impressive.
Fashion educated at the London College of Fashion and then the prestigious Royal College of Art where she studied womens' knitwear design, Chinese born Xio Li's is a name to take note of for the future.
I loved the clean, bold, exaggerated lines and 'less is more' purity of the theme presented in chalk tone pastel colour blocks infused with electric pulses of scarlet.
