Paul Costelloe's Autumn Winter 15 collection called 'Jewels in the Mist' inspired by 15th Century painter Raphael's home in the village of Corinaldo in the region of Marche did not disappoint.
I felt very honoured to be invited to view Irish designer Paul's new collection. I loved his Spring Summer offering in September and was intrigued to find out how he would develop his signature silhouettes for Winter. Clever man! he made sure that there was a veritable cornucopia of gorgeous coat styles to feast ones eyes upon.
Colour choice was abundant, from the safe seasonal transcending 'black' to bolder less safe tempting bright tweeds and pastel pink. His balloon sleeved dresses appeared in super opulent emerald jacquard prints. Give me colour for Winter, lets brighten up those dismal grey shorter days that will return in September this year. But for now we can look forward to enjoying Spring Summer and new coats from Paul Costelloe for next Winter.
