Pam Hogg with her group of models
Pam Hogg’s ‘Diamond Dogs and Daemons’ AW15 show
was everything you’d expect from the fashion rebel, as British Vogue has named
her. Taking a dark twist on fairy tales, Hogg’s show featured eccentric headpieces,
PVC stockings and villainous leather ensembles.
Music blaring, the models, including it
girl Alice Dellal took to the runway with a fierce rock and roll attitude as
they glared at the cameras waiting for them at the end of the show space.
Amongst the guests overflowing the Freemasons’ Hall, Noel Fielding, Nick Cave
and Stephen Jones sat front row.
Futuristic, feminine shimmering pastels
contrasted the heavier black-on-black dominatrix looks with many of the pieces
featuring flame appliqué detailing.
Staying true to her signature glam rock
looks, Hogg’s show featured sheer fabrics and barely-there catsuits teamed with
heavy eye colours and exaggerated lashes. Platforms, flares and voluminous
hairstyles provided a 70s edge to the collection.
