Accomplished and sophisticated digital prints define this collection, these hip wings are an interesting style feature.

We rushed over to Belle Sauvage from the Bernard Chandran show collection near Trafalgar square.
Belle Sauvage was established in 2007 by the talented design duo of Virginia Ferreira (Argentine) and Christian Neuman (Luxembourgian). Their A/W2011 show in The old Sorting Office again organised by uber efficient  Portia and Keziah from Essence Communication was an amazing cavernous space and was wonderfully cool as we sat waiting for the show to start. I sat next to Paula Tsoni an ex student of mine, who was filming the show for her blog - http://paulatrendsets.wordpress.com/
Belle Sauvage presented a sophisticated and accomplished collection. I really admired the organic digital reptilian like print designs, on close inspection one can see that they were  extraordinarily detailed and of the highest quality and infact made up of futuristic space age swirling decorative graphic patterns, with Swarovski like reflective plates interwoven. The collection was a riot of these designs and provided a unique and desirable offering. See the invitation design above.
I am really looking forward to seeing the Belle Sauvage Spring/Summer 2011 -12 collection if their past record is anything to go by it will amazing.
