This is an Editorial fashion shoot by Steven Meisel I found in Sept 2012 Italian Vogue.
For me it really reflects an understated style and confidence summing up the times we are living in here in Europe. There may be an economic down turn and it may not be cool to splash bling - but there is no way we are going to be grungie again...style rules. I like the way the girls are photograhed in their Kitchens and comfortable home environment with Pets and of course the odd designer handbag thrown in! - reminiscent of Carrie in 'Sex and the City' - but less glam and down to earth - Franca Sozzanni does it again!
read the below link - Marc Jacobs has been inspired by this sentiment of dressing up and having nowhere to go !!
